After almost 25 years as a physician, I’ve seen the truth in patients’ lives—and in my own. Here’s what I learned. The biggest difference between people who stay healthy and those who get sick is energy—your body’s ability to pull fuel from food. And what controls that ability? Stable blood sugar. Without it, there is no true health.

But let me be honest—I wasn’t always living this way. For the first three decades of my life, I was a sugar addict. I believed sugar’s only real danger was diabetes. And since I had no family history of diabetes, I thought I was safe.

Then, about 10 years ago, I read a line in one of Dr. Mark Hyman’s books that stopped me cold: sugar doesn’t just put you at risk for future problems like diabetes or heart disease. The damage is happening right now—causing conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

That hit home because I had just been diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis—severe enough to require surgery. Suddenly it all made sense. I wasn’t immune. I wasn’t the exception.

That realization changed everything. I cut the sugar, restored my energy, and felt healthier than I had in years. Since then, I’ve helped others do the same through the BEAM Blueprint. And now, I’d like to help you start too.
